Opinions on my workout?
I'm currently taking VPX meltdown, started that 2 weeks ago. It burns fat cells, or so it says. Anyways it gives me a ton of energy. I'm 5'9 and 195 now, I was 215 when I first started. I seem to be losing quite a bit of weight. Anyways I would like opinions on my workout.
40 mins per day
100 jumping jacks ---- 5 reps
50 crunches--- 5 reps (sometimes I do 100 at first)
20 20lb dumbell flyers--- 5 reps
20 20lb curls--- 4-5 reps (depends)
I was in great shape a few years back, but lost the pecks and abs. Obviously they turned into flab. But I feel the pecks coming back.
That is a good workout. You should dedicate 20 minutes to cardio and include alternates to your exercise. When your body reaches a plateau the exercise will feel mundane, then it will become necessary to shock the muscle. If you do your exercise in the order that you listed reverse it or rearrange it in order to shock your muscles. Remember a lifestyle change includes changing your diet.
