How long should i wait after starting the pill to have sex?
Im planning on having vaginal sex soon for the first time and im going to start taking the pill to reduce risk of pregnancy, were going to use a condom also. I just wanted to know how long we should wait for the pill to take effect. Advice please, thanks.
If you start it on the first day of your period, it is effective straight away. If you start it at other times, then you need to use back-up protection for the first seven days. If you are going to be using a condom anyway, then taking the pill doesn't really matter!
