Cholesterol issues anyone?
My body manufactures too much cholesterol genetically. When I take meds they work wonderfully however, my liver enzymes go up so I must go off. I'm "on my own"..... I take Kyolic garlic, green tea, fish oil, Juice Plus Vineyard for Cardio, aspirin..... but this only helps with the food part... is anyone else having problems with this like I am??
With your doctor's recomendation of course.
Try Red Rice Yeast. It operates very similar to statin drugs. It contains lovastatin like the first patented statin drug, Mevacor. But, it also contains other statins which seems to moderate the negative effects on the body.
Red Rice yeast seems to cause fewer side effects because it contains ten different statin compuunds which presents the body with a complex of related statin molecules rather than a single molecule.
If your cholesterol still does not come down enough ask your doctor about taking Zetia, a non-statin drug that works well with statins to lower cholesterol.
If you are taking statins, natural or manufactured. you should also take CoQ10 to make up for the negative effect statins have on your body's naturally produced CoQ levels.
