Can you treat a toothache with Garlic?
I read that before we find peniciline , garlic was use as antibiotic during WW1. Now I am taking Amociline 500MG 4 time per day and I get extremely dizzy , I feel weak. I have a bad toothache and an infection. If I take 4 big Garlic Kyolic pills will it work? I am thinkinhg to drop my intake of antibiotic from 4 to 2 and compensate with garlic pills. Thanks. Also I have a lot of pain so I take a few pain killers per day. Thanks
It is a myth that taking garlic will cure all sorts of toothaches. The only thing that would get rid of that toothache is either going through a root canal or getting it extracted. Your daily intake of antibiotic will slow the infection but it won't go away at all. You should not lower your dosage of antibiotics to compensate the garlic pills.
I would seriously check with your doctor about taking antibiotics in conjunction with garlic pills. I don't know what the garlic pills will do when you take them together with the antibiotic pills. You may experience some side effects that might harm you so beware of this course of action.
See your dentist as soon as possible.
