Quarter Size Bottles of Champagne?
Can any one tell me if they make quarter size Veuve Clicquot Champagne? I know they make splits which is bigger than the quarter but half the size of a normal bottle
I live in Michigan and would like to know where I could purchase mass quantities. This is for a wedding mind you. Maybe contact a direct distributor or wholesaler. Thanks
Yes quarter bottles of the Yellow Label Veuve Clicquot do exist and they are somewhat readily available in this country. Most liquor stores that sell a wide variety of champagne will stock at least one or two brands in quarter bottles. Even if you do not see them, ask the clerk or manager, as half and quarter bottle sizes are often stored behind the counter or are available for special order.
As for direct sales and wholesale sources, it would be virtually impossible to purchase alcohol from them, as it is a controlled substance and the system of sales and distribution in any given state tends to be very rigid and controlled. However, retailers might be able to give you a deal for larger quantities.
You can try the print or online Yellow Pages for specialty wine and liquor stores in your given area. I’d try your print sources first in this case and use a telephone to check on availability. After searching Google through several searches for things like “champagne bulk sales Michigan” and “specialty wine retailer Michigan” I wasn’t able to come up with much. Most stores and retailer appear to have absolutely no online presence at all.
Most deliberately avoid publishing complete lists of available wines on their website due to the large amount of effort needed to keep such a list updated regularly. The best idea is to find a few local stores and call them about a specific product or two.
I usually don’t recommend specific websites for a variety of reasons, but here’s some of the few better results of my searches. Whether or not they are local to you and what you are looking for are unknown, but the second has a website with a decent wedding planning page.
