TO ALL PAGANS! What are some good herbs, stones, or chants for cleansing a home, all so to protect on as well?
I am a fellow pagan at my wits end. My mother is being tormented by negativity and tragedies. what can I do to cleanse or protect her home and my family? SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY! Blessed be all who answer or lay eyes upon my question 
to cast out negative energy :
Sage bundles
(never take more than 1/3 of the plant if collecting it fresh)
make sure they are bundled with yellow or red thread
hang it upside down in a cool dry room for 2 or 3 days
on the night of your ritual burn frankincense incense in the centre of the area you are blessing and protecting
go outside to the far eastern corner of your property(or room if you prefer privacy)
Light the sage bundle and blow out the flame til the leaves ember
use a feather to direct the smoke away from you in a sweeping motion and use a fire retardant container (preferably an abalone shell) to catch the ashes
chant:
"i cast out negative energy this very night
i am protected by the ladys grace and might
surrounded and embraced by her pure love
as it is below so it is above"
move in a clockwise direction till you have blessed and protected all 4 corners direct the smoke to every high corner and around every window and door and drain and toilet
when you have done this burn narcissus lilac or magnolia incense to bring in peace and harmony.
