Has anyone else seen a black widow in its natural habitat? Seeing that thing was amazing!?
When I was in Georgia last summer, one of my friends was planting and out came a black widow protecting her nest. I bet most of you have seen them in zoo's and such, how bout the wild?
I see them all the time out in the wild as well as in my house. When I was camping out while doing bird research...we had a female with an egg sac living in our outdoor shower. Also. these spider do not hide and then bite you like answer man says...they will bite if handled or pinched...but they are usually pretty mellow and do not "come after" people. I have accidentally stuck my finger into a tube with a female and web and did not even get bitten.
